CryptoBladers, today we hosted an AMA with the CEO of TryHards, Thomas! It was an amazing, interesting discussion with awesome community engagement and prizes! What is TryHards?

“Tryhards is an NFT-based action game, players collect Fanatics and Weapons (NFT’s) that can be used in the Arena to fight other players and or waves of monsters in the dungeons. Our focus is on Community building and the social aspects of online video games. Players can upgrade their NFT’s to become stronger and receive better staking rewards as well as better in-game loot. Combining the best of DeFi and NFTs to create a truly unique and everlasting action metaverse. The Tryhards metaverse will consist of multiple minigames, at the moment the beta version of the Dapp is live on the play. tryhards. io (polygon chain), so players can already purchase and trade NFT’s on the marketplace or try their luck through the Smuggler (loot box system)

When the players can use the following features in the Dapp:
— Purchase NFT’s through the smuggler (loot-boxes)
— Trade NFT’s on the Plaza
— Provide liquidity (TRY — MATIC) to earn crafting crystals
— Receive staking rewards in $TRY from owning NFT’s and completing the set
— Check their rank on the leaderboard — Compose/decompose Crafting crystals in the refinery
— Manage and upgrade NFT’s in the inventory
— Our DAO called the Guardians of the Armory (still in development)

Features main game:
— Casual and ranked games in the arena, 1vs1, 2vs2, and 3vs3. (End of March 2022 we will launch the alpha version)
— Dungeons, fighting waves of monsters, and boss fights. (still in development)
— Achievement system, players can unlock convenient perks and unique NFT’s only available through achievement. (still in development)
— Many more features to be released in the future”

What is the utility of the $TRY token and how is it used in TryHards?

“The $TRY token can be used to purchase NFT’s from the smuggler, purchasing energy which is needed for all sorts of actions in the game. It can also be used to unlock more crafting crystals by providing liquidity as well as participating in the DAO. Players can also use $TRY to wager in ranked matches, but this is optional.”

How does Tryhards reward users while maintaining the long-term stability of the project?

“Maybe it’s best to answer this question with some examples: our staking, loot box, and liquidity mechanisms have been carefully constructed by a friend of the team. He has a Ph.D. in mathematics. We believe it’s very important for the long-term sustainability of Tryhards. Another example of this is our “bad luck protection system”, we calculated the average universe power each loot box opening will give and how much each UP each kind of crystal has. So when players open a loot box and roll a normal, refined or unique they still get 100 extra crafting crystals to still hit the average Universe Power per loot box.”

How much would one earn with an account or what is the intended ROI for a new user?

“It really depends on how players play the game, I don’t believe there is one intended way to play Tryhards. A player could join by sniping some cheap NFT’s on the Plaza for USC and have an ROI in about 3 to 4 weeks at the current price. But if you get lucky through loot boxes it can be done much quicker. Of course, token prices are an important factor. When the main game is done we introduce many NFT’s that will be rewarded to players after boss fights. It really depends on market forces what prices are and how fast ROI can be achieved.”

How is TryHards evolving and innovating?

“Well, Tryhards is only 3 months old since TGE. The Dapp has Evolved quite a bit already with new features and sounds implemented as well. We take feedback from the community very seriously. Most of the updates revolve around feedback from them. The main game is still in development, as for innovating. I think we are one of the first shooters in the space and it’s quite unique that players can first own, interact, upgrade and trade their NFT’s in a Dapp before using them as 3D characters or weapons in the main game.”

Do you have any Coin Burn / BuyBack systems or any Token Burn plans to increase the value of Token & attract Investors to invest?

“We strategically burn our Tokens. I believe we have burned close to a million tokens so far. We burn most of the tokens we get from loot box sales which have been over 11500 sales in less than 3 months. our circulating supply 30 million tokens atm. We also do buyback from USDC we take from inhouse market sales.”
