First Part: Intro Segment

Of course, thank you for having me! I’m happy to be here and share some of the cool things we are working on over at CryptoBlades! I’m Nick Newcomer, the COO of CryptoBlades. I joined the team back in July and my primary role is to help develop partnerships and facilitate them within our community and theirs.

As a metaverse project, you have a beautiful project, what distinguishes you from other projects, how do you see yourself in this market?

Nick Newcomer (CryptoBlades COO)
I would say that just because a particular project calls itself a “metaverse” does not necessarily mean that it really fits that criteria. We feel as though our vision of a metaversal project is pure. Right now we are making partnerships with other teams to bring utility of CryptoBlades NFTs into their projects as well as bringing utility of their NFTs into CryptoBlades.

This is going to be even more highlighted within CrypoBlades’ follow up game, CryptoBlades: Kingdoms. We are in the final stages of our Lands Sale, which I have linked to below. Lands are important to the game of CBK, but also to the larger metaversal aspect of CryptoBlades. I can’t talk too much about it right now, but the vision is for a set of parallel planes of existence all utilizing the NFT lands with an incredible amount of diverse utility for both the owner of the lands as well as the user coming to the greater CryptoBlades metaverse.

The last thing I will touch on here is that we have been very excited about this idea for a long time. From the very beginning our team has been thinking about bringing value to the NFTs of our game and what DeFi gaming looks like in the future. It has always been the plan for some interoperability between our two games and to slowly grant utility to other projects’ NFTs. We also have been working with projects that we feel truly align to what it means to be a true metaverse. One of the projects we most recently formed a close partnership with is Project Oasis. What they have is truly spectacular and I would suggest checking them out, too.

Right! The whole concept of the metaverse is super hot right now. Being among the first to push forward this concept is going to be HUGE. There is no doubt that Facebook will have something new and exciting, but we are also VERY excited for the future of DeFi gaming and the metaverse with CryptoBlades.

Second question
What will be the biggest contribution of the CryptoBlades to the crypto ecosystem?

This is another great question because even though we only launched CryptoBlades in May we have gone through a lot.
I think something that the CryptoBlades team strives for is being at the forefront of DeFi gaming, but also being open with our community. It is no secret that there were some growing pains when we went from 1,000 users to 500,000 users in a very short amount of time. We have stayed committed to our community and have made a number of steps forward so the game has legs for longer than a couple of months. Rewards have been reworked, we have hired a number of great people to add to our team, new features are being released, we are on multiple chains now, and so much more. And all during this time we have stayed in constant contact with those in our community. I suppose what I am trying to articulate is that we hope our legacy or our contribution to the space is one of a standard of care. We are a game company that truly loves its users and wants to see them looked after long term.

Third Question
What will be the utility of $KING for CryptoBlades players?

So we have two tokens. CryptoBlades, which is on BSC, Heco, OEC, and Polygon (Avalanche very soon!) uses SKILL and is live now. https://app.cryptoblades.io/

CryptoBlades: Kingdoms, which will launch early next year on BSC uses KING. https://cryptobladeskingdoms.io/

Right now KING can be used to purchase lands on the CryptoBlades market in the SKILL shop (https://app.cryptoblades.io/#/market), however, KING is the token for CryptoBlades: Kingdoms and will be the main currency there. Also, we are currently working on a KING for KING staking system where we will utilize the 1% transaction fee built into KING to provide earning rewards.

What about lands? What can you tell us about the lands in CryptoBlades: Kingdoms?

Yes! I’m very excited to talk all about the lands here today because of our partnership of you guys hosting a lands sale for your community.

So lands are the main entry into CryptoBlades: Kingdoms. You need land in order to play and generate resources in this game that will be like Clash of Clans, but on the blockchain. You can use your land directly for the game or lease it out to others through a NFT sharing mechanism. There will also be ways to use the lands in the greater CryptoBlades metaverse that I spoke a little about earlier.

In general there are three tiers of lands right now, tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3. They are similar, but there are clear advantages as you move up from tier 1 to tier 3.

Tier 1 lands house tier 1 villages, which are placed completely randomly.

Tier 2 lands house tier 2 villages, which allow the player to choose a territory to spawn in, but their village will be placed randomly in that territory.

Tier 3 lands house tier 3 villages, which allow the player to choose a territory to spawn in as well. These villages will start with higher building levels, initial resources, and exclusive graphics.

A tier 1 gets you into the game and you can play. A tier 2 can give you a competitive advantage because you can coordinate with others to make sure your villages are close together. And a tier 3 gives you a large advantage at the start. This might lead you to becoming a guild leader early on, which increases earning potential.

I think the sharing mechanism is going to be pretty cool. Some other projects are also thinking about this. We are working with Spintop and they have this mechanism called Guild Academy, I believe, where members can join a group, pool their DeFi game NFTs and then they can be lent out with the rewards from those NFTs being shared.

Fifth Question

Perfect question. We get this a lot. Why should we buy now instead of waiting for the game to launch?

There are a couple of reasons. We are incentivizing early adoption of lands, to be completely transparent, because we are raising money for the development of CryptoBlades: Kingdoms the game and the metaverse aspect. It is being treated, in our minds, like an IDO. Only a small percent (around 15%) of lands will be sold in this initial round and then there will not be another sale for a while. Additionally, this price will most likely not be offered again. By purchasing through Demeter now, you ensure that you will be in the Demeter Realm. What that means is that we have carved out a chunk of our map solely for the Demeter community and any lands purchased will put you near others in your community. You will be able to coordinate early on to form guilds, help one another, and target other groups. Additionally, you will be able to join in on early utilities such as the lands staking, which is coming soon where those who stake their lands will earn KING.

Last Question
Can you share any other exciting news about CryptoBlades or CryptoBlades: Kingdoms here?

I would love to!
Two big things that are rolling out very soon are PvP and the NFT Bridge for CryptoBlades (BSC, Heco, Polygon, and OEC).

PvP allows users to battle one another where they can earn much higher rewards than just battling in traditional combat or entering in raids. The NFT Bridge will allow players to transfer their characters, swords, shields, and other NFTs from one chain to another. This is because we realize that gas fees are annoying and ultimately take away some of the earning potential of playing CryptoBlades. By being able to transfer from one chain to another, you can go to where the fight brings the most rewards.

In the real world, when lands are sold, or bought by individuals, there usually government regulations and processes are always done to transfer ownership from the seller to the purchaser. On the Bladescrypto metaverse, how is this done that will comply with existing laws?

Currently most investors only care about profits at the moment but ignore the long-term benefits. So can you give them some reasons why they should buy and hold your token in the long term?
What plans do you have to grow rapidly in terms of users, global market and partners? What are your strategies in building a big and strong community?
Security is one of the most important thing to consider in starting up a project, how secured is this project for users and investors?

Currently a lot of people are looking at NFTs, metaverse, and games. Can you tell me what advantages will you have in this field future?
There are so many investors that just focus on the price of token in the short term period instead of real technology of the project. Can you tell us the motivation and benefits for investors of your project to long term?
Regarding marketing, what plans, ideas and next steps does your project have to attract investors and users? Do you intend to leverage the popularity of social media to make your Project even more popular?
Do you guys feel satisfied by seeing your progresses and achievements till now, when you look back to the day when you have started this project.
How important is the community to you? and how can we collaborate or help you for the development of the project.
How does project increase the token’s value, liquidity and utility ? So that it can lead to an increase in token prices ? What is your plan to make your project stable and provide the highest return for investors in the long term ?
Your project has great features. There must be an experienced team behind. Can you tell some about your team and their experiences in the market?

A huge part of metaverse in recent times has been the introduction of virtual reality like facebook which plans to release vr headsets in their meta to allows for revolutionary experiences across chats and fortnite and axie infinity for their games.
And so I wonder if the crypto blades project has any plans on integrating virtual reality into it’s own metaverse gaming platform soon?

We do have a plan to move forward and gain users from around the world. Our wonderful CMO has been working with a number of different marketing groups and influencers in key areas around the world where we think there is still a lot of potential. Right now, a majority of our users are in the Philippines and think we can expand further. The gaming industry is HUGE. We are looking to attend some big gaming conferences in the United States to drive traditional gamers into the DeFi gaming space.

Sure. CryptoBlades: Kingdoms is going to be one of, if not the, highest quality games that is on the blockchain. We like to joke that CryptoBlades is like 85% discord and spreadsheets and 15% game. CryptoBlades: Kingdoms is going to be a AAA level game. The groups that we are meeting with to do our big initial trailer and outsource some of the art and development to are big players in the gaming industry. We believe that the hype driven from this is going to bring in some big jumps on SKILL, KING, and the lands. What is also very cool and interesting is mechanism where you don’t even have to play CBK to earn from the lands. You can lease them out and those who play will utilize your lands and you will have a way to earn passive income off of them. Finally, The metaversal aspects of owning lands are really going to be cool. We have a lot of big partnerships that are still being ironed out, but owning lands is going to give some pretty cool rewards for those.

There have been some discussions about it, but they have been very early discussions. I would imagine it is something that will indeed be come to fruition eventually, but it is not something I would imagine would be available immediately at launch.

That being said, we are working with some groups to give an augmented reality component to some NFTs, which is also very cool in my opinion.

Alex, thank you for being a believer in CryptoBlades and for asking these questions. We do not want to leave those that have already invested their time, energy, and money into CryptoBlades when CryptoBlades: Kingdoms launches. In CBK, you will be able to use your characters from CB directly in CBK so there will be an incentive to keep building them up stronger and stronger in CB to help you in CBK.

You also asked about what is after CB, CBK, and the CB metaverse. There are still a lot of things to do with these. One big thing on the horizon is our Knighthood Program. We have started taking on blossoming projects to mentor and help grow. In return we receive some of their tokens and those go directly into the rewards pool for people to earn. There are a couple of big details to finish ironing out, but it is coming up soon too.

We acknowledge this to be a very true thing in the industry. A project will push and push and push to pump the price of their token, but then they are gone in a couple of days, weeks, or months. At CryptoBlades we are committed to pumping up the price of SKILL and KING, but we want to see it done naturally. This is why we are currently focusing on being the best project we can be. I touched on this a little bit earlier, but fixing the rewards system, launching raids, and then rolling out PvP and the NFT Bridge are all meant to improve the project and make it sustainable long term. In the end we have a game that we are producing. It needs to be provide an enjoyable experience to the player otherwise there is no reason to interact with it. We believe that CB is a great product with a ton of upside still left to come.
